Bogor, 13 Sept, Tanapat Pichaikool has just won the individual class of The Indonesian Pro-Am presented by Combipar & Nomura at Gunung Guelis Golf and Resort. This tournament, which is on the ADT (Asian Development Tour) agenda, has been held for three days from 11-13 Sept 2024, not only the individual class but also the Pro-Am class. The Pro-Am Tournament, which was held for the second time in Indonesia, was won by Galven Green (Pro) from Malaysia and Andree Harahap (Amature) from Indonesia. The Indonesian and Malaysian pair scored a total of 183 strokes, or 30 under par, from three rounds of the tournament, so they both deserved a prize of $5,500.
“The enthusiasm for Pro-Am this year is higher than last year. People already understand the concept of this Pro-Am tournament. I am optimistic that our amateurs can learn more from their pro partners. This goal is actually what we wanted to achieve when we first introduced The Indonesia Pro-Am presented by Combiphar & Nomura last year,” said Michael Wanandi, President Director of Combiphar.
Meanwhile, in the individual class, it was won by Tanapat Pichaikool (THA). Getting 10 birdies and 1 boogie, the 24-year-old Thai golfer was able to shoot to first place with a total of 194 strokes, or 19 undeparted. The victory at the Indonesia Pro-Am presented by Combiphar & Nomura 2024 was Tanapat’s best achievement; he only got pro status in 2020.
Indonesian golfer Rory Hie (INA) has played quite well since the first round, Rory managed to break Kevin’s Akbar (INA) lowest record of 10-under par last year. Rory scored a total of 13 under par from a total of 200 strokes, so that on the final leaderboard Rory was entitled to third place.
