Established on August 17, 1976, the Pondok Indah Golf Course Indah has a unique design that represent a partnership between man and nature.
Each game will afford golfers opportunities for not only measuring their skills against the course, but also enjoying the beauty of the natural surrounding by playing in a relaxed setting of lush greenery and tall trees, in fresh air carrying the scent of flowers and the songs of birds.
Pondok Indah Golf Course offers golfers a location where the architect has seemingly done little to disturb the natural harmony – where the golf course blends into its environment as though it had always been there. Such a paradise is rare. It is even rarer to find one located conveniently in the heart of a major city.
As one of the requirement of the course design, the architect was asked to design a course with a layout for major championships (event World Cup) but capable of offerring pleasure and a fair test for both low handicap players and beginners.
To meet such a demanding requirement, one of the most famous names in golf architecture was engaged – Robert Trent Jones Jr. With a philosophy of overall harmony, variety of situation and excitement without deception, he has created a course that can give pleasure to all the test the best.
Numerous top players have praised its tough but fair hazards, its strategic layout and superb condition. It is an excellent course to test all grades of golfers – from beginner to champion – and one which helps the members get the most for their game.

The Club House of Pondok Indah Golf Course has a traditional architecture and has been newly renovated recently by combining the traditional and modern architecture design. The new Club House provides a fresh yet exclusive architectural design for all part of the facilities such as Man and Ladies Locker Room, VIP Rooms, and Club House Restaurant.
