Tanggerang, 21 August The BNI Ciputra Golfpreneur Tournament 2024 has just started, and on this first day the players are still looking for ways to get the best results. This event is an event that international golfers, as well as young Indonesian golfers, have been waiting for. This tournament, which is one of the agendas of ADT (Asian Development Tour) this year, will be held again at Damai Indah Golf (BSD Course).

For the weather itself, today it is peaceful and beautiful and quite friendly, although during the day it is quite hot and does not make players experience much difficulty, but in the afternoon session the wind is quite strong in several holes. 

On the first day, Ekpharit Wu (THA) , Matthew Cheung (HKG) and Kosuke Hamamoto (THA) overtook each other on the temporary leaderboard; until the end of the first day, they were still ahead with a score of 6 underpar, ahead of Danny Chia (MAS), Minhyeok Yang (KOR), Chanat Sakulpolphaisan (THA), and James Leow (SIN) with a difference of 1 point underpar or 5 underpar on the first day of this tournament.

Interesting to discuss this time there is the name Danny Chia (MAS) in second place with a score of 5 underpar, played well by getting 7 birdies but had to get 2 boogies on holes 9 and 14, but this result is enough for Danny Chia to compete for the next 3 days. James Leow (SIN) also had a pretty good result on the first day; he got 8 birdies but had to concentrate more on the last nine holes, as he got a double boogie on hole 15 and a boggie on hole 17, but this did not stop him from continuing to compete for the top of the leaderboard tomorrow. 

The Indonesian player himself, Jonathan Wijono, managed to occupy 7th place with a score of 4 under par.He played quite well in the first 6 holes by getting 4 Birides but had to get 2 boogies on holes 8 and 14, so he had to be satisfied with getting a score of 4 undepar in this first round.
