Tanggerang 22 August, Damai Indah Golf (BSD Course) is again the place for national and international players to compete in the second round of BNI Ciputra Golfpreneur 2024, one of the ADT (Asian Development Tour) events. This is again presenting an exciting battle. After the first round yesterday, the top of the leaderboard was dominated by Matthew Cheung (HKG), Ekpharit Wu (THA), and Kosuke Hamamoto (THA) with a score of 6 underpar.
In this second round the other players played more aggressively; for example, in the morning session Kammalas Namuangruk (THA) played 8 under par, even though yesterday he could only play 1 over par, so he managed to poke into the top position of the leaderboard in the second round. Likewise, Vanchai Luangnitikul finished with a score of 11 underpar in the second round; he played very well after he managed to get 7 underpar today.
And the second round was closed with Vanchai Luangnitikul (THA) and Matthew Cheung (HKG) getting a tie score of 11 under par. Vanchai got 6 birdies and 1 eagle on hole 18 but had to get a boogie on hole 11, while Matthew got 3 birdies and 1 eagle on hole 18, or the same hole where Vanchai got an eagle.
In position 3, Ekpharit Wu m (THA) got a score of 10 underpar, followed by 4 people in position 4, namely Peter Wilson (AUS), Chanat Sakulpolphaisan (THA), James Leow (SIN), and Kosuke Hamamoto (THA).
Jonathan Wijono became the Indonesian representative who competed at the top of the leaderboard in the second round. After the first round playing 4 underpar, in the second round he remained stable by producing 3 underpar after getting 4 Biridie and 1 Boogie in the early hole.
