Established in 1998, Ria Bintan Golf Club is today one of Asia’s top golfing destinations, attracting golfers from around the world with our two beautiful courses designed by golf legend, Gary Player.

The award-winning 18-hole Ocean Course unfolds next to the South China Sea, offering tantalising ocean views, while the 9-hole Forest Course set amidst mature woodlands tests your mettle with its various bunkers and fairways.

Ria Bintan Golf Club has been consistently named the best golf course in Asia and Indonesia, and has played host to numerous regional events, including the annual Ria Bintan Open.

Certified Sanctuary

In 2009, Ria Bintan Golf Club became the first course in Indonesia to receive the highly-acclaimed Certified Audubon International Classic and Cooperative Sanctuary certification from world-renowned green champion, Audubon International.

After a thorough nomination process from the organisers at Luxury Lifestyle Awards, Ria Bintan Golf Club was awarded as one of the best in Indonesia!

Ria Bintan Golf Club has been ranked 35th in the Top 100 Golf Courses in Asia 2019, organised and awarded by Golf Travel Magazine. In its third year running, this annual award is reviewed, judged and rated by some 60 golf industry panelists from around Asia and beyond, and they hail from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, China, Korea, Japan etc.

Golf courses are judged on the points of swing value, memory, fairness, aesthetics, course maintenance, facilities and services.
